About Us

Go Local Heating and Air is owned and operated by Sergey Pudov in Fuquay-Varina, NC who has over 10 years of HVAC experience in providing residential and commercial A/C services. Sergey graduated from Wake Tech’s Air Conditioning, Heating & Refrigeration Technology program with honors in 2014 and has worked in the industry since. In 2021, Sergey received his contractors license (L.35134) issued by North Carolina Licensing Board for General Contractors and opened the Go Local Heating and Air, LLC.

Born and raised in Magnitogorsk, Russia, Sergey moved to the United States in 2009 as a professional musician as part of a folk band, playing a traditional Russian instrument balalaika. He graduated from Magnitogorsk State Conservatory with a bachelor’s and master’s degrees in music. 

Sergey has always loved doing things with his hands, whether playing an instrument, brewing beer or cooking. After considering several options for making a living in a new country, he decided to pursue a heating and air conditioning career path. Sergey enjoys solving puzzles and HVAC allows him to do it every day.

Sergey lives with his wife Maria and son Ivan in Fuquay-Varina, NC. In spare time (which is in shortage, as many things now!) he enjoys spending time with his family and friends, and woodworking.
